D14: Tokyo-Gotanda
This theater or concert hall doesn't look like a concert hall at all from the outside. Inside it's again very modern and effective. It's not worth a first category ticket. I can see perfectly the stage from my cheap place. Well not that cheap actually, something like 45€ for the cheapest seats. If Japan surprised me a lot by its low prices, especially food, restaurants, hotels, youth hostels, I have to say that cultural events are very expensive.
The theater is full. Classic ballet is very popular in Japan. I can see and feel they love ballet and ballet dancers. There're a lot of little girls with chignons dancing around but a lot of young adults as well which is pretty seldom in Europe, unfortunatelly.
If you are interested by the performance and read French I wrote a review here. Briefly: I didn't like the ballet that much but was fun anyway.
