Just in case you don't know yet I'm completely mad with ballet. It's a passion since almost ever.
I have the great chance to live in Europe, cradle of ballet and to live in Århus with 2 airports nearby. there I can get very cheap flights to London and Paris and to the best ballet company in the world (Paris Opera Ballet) and 2 of the best companies in the world (The Royal Ballet of London and the English National Ballet).
Yesterday I bought a return ticket to London for 300kr or about 40 euros and a billet for Jewels by the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden November 30th.
Jewels is a ballet by Balanchine first performed in 1967 by the New York City Ballet or NYCB. It is an abstract ballet, a triptych in which each part represents a precious stone: Emeraudes (music by Fauré), Rubies (music by Stravinski) and Diamants (music by Tchaïkovski), Christian Lacroix made the costumes. I love Rubies. This is a short clip:
