D8: Kyoto
Yokohama-Kyoto takes about 2:20 hours by Shinkansen. The best train I ever took in my all life: fast and confortable.
If Shin-Yokohama (shinkansen station in Yokohama) is a bit confusing with its differents floors and tracks everywhere, it's very easy to find your way at Kyoto station and it's one of the most intersting building I've seen as a train station. Very modern and lightful, with an open roof.

I've got a room, or more precisely a bed, at the Budget Inn Ryokan youth hostel about 5 minutes walk from the station. I like the place. It's located in a small street so there's no noise, it's clean and the staff is both kind and helpful and avalaible!!! There's always somebody to answer your question or solve your problem.
Since it's still very early I decide to go for some visit. 2 temples are very closed: Nishi Honganji and Toji. I start with Toji temple.
It worths to pay the fees entrance for the garden. I don't know wether it's always like that or not when the doors of the temple are closed and I could see the temple very well from outside, from the street. That's something I will notice in Kyoto: fees for everything and nothing special to see. But well, I'm here now and the gardenis really lovely.

Just outside the temple a shrine and some traditional houses. I don't know the exact name of this place but I made a video (remember that I'm not a great film maker, sorry).
I'm going now to Nishi Honganji temple. It's almost 5pm and it closed at 5pm but I can manage to see everything.
And as last visit today: Higashi-Honganji temple, built in 1602 by the Jodo-shinsu sect.
