D7: Yokohama museum and shopping
It's raining and I'm exhausted. What better than a museum and do some shopping to chill out?

The museum of Art is located behind the Landmarket tower and it worths a visit. The exhibition is small but has a very good photograph section. I'm not really a lover of photo so it has to be great to catch my attention. The photographer is Suda. For once I understand who is the artist. Usually everything is in Japanese, even the name of the artist. But no idea wether it's a guy or a woman. Don't ask too much!
I like how the exhibition is displayed. Each work is shown off to advantage and it's a pleasure to walk around.

In front of the museum: a big place and a Brasserie Restaurant francais

On my way back I drop by a shopping center at Kamiooka station. Here is one of the biggest umbrella shop in Japan. It's difficult to choose one but after about 2 hours I find one smart and beautiful umbrella for my mum. Well, I say umbrella but these are for sun, not for rain. Actually I wonder why we don't have that in our countries where sun is burning. It's more effective and nicer than sunscreen (I don't know yours but my sunscreen is shinning and stinks).
And Japan wouldn't be Japan without Hello Kitty. Everything Hello Kitty: mobile phone, camera, micro waves, oven, hair-dryer, fan, tv, toaster, iron, computer, pen, pencils, clothes, jewellery, night clothes, toys, note books, underwears, bags, wallets, flip flops, toothpasta, hair brush, make up, perfumes, mineral water, cakes...
