D-6: Asakusa/ Senso-ji temple
How many temples in Tokyo? I don't know. Probably thousands. I can't see all of them of course and I don't want either, that's too much. But if there's one that nobody should missed is the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa... click on lire la suite for more
Actually, it seems that everybody is aware: Senso-ji is THE temple to visit. Or more than the temple, the avenue. I feel like a green peas in a can. I have to wait some seconds before to move one foot. I'm on the big alley from the main entrance to the temple. On each side few handicrafts shops, full of tourists, try to survive. They are surrounding by those gimmick shops full of crap that cost a fortune and catch the tourist. I hate that, I hate wait for age to go 1 step forward and choose to take a parallel street.
The temple is huge and imposing but I prefer the garden.
