Yokohama, 1st day

I don't want sleep now. I want catch the normal rythm and don't care about the jet lag. I'm dying for a chat with my friend and to discover her new city.

I'm dead but so excited!! And the weather is perfect. I expected a lot of rain and very hot temperatures but no. It's just perfect. My friend suggests a walk. She's living in a residential area and there's a park nearby.
The fisrt thing I notice is the quietness. Of course I could imagine that Japan wasn't only neon light, concrete, skyscrapers and crowd but so quiet! I'm very surprised. And moreover, we are alone in the street.
I don't really feel lost. Most of the houses could be found in European countries. Only gardens are the proof that I'm in Japan. They are all so beautiful! Some of them are even not gardens anymore but masterpieces!
Our walk ends at a park with rice fields. Here we cross a lot of pupils running and doing sport while I'm getting new friends: Japanese mosquitoes :-) !

Short resume: I haven't slept for 56 hours, my eyes are so red that it seems I've been a rabbit in an other life and got myxomatosis, I'm full of itching red spot and, last but not least, very very happy to be here.
